A Network of Care

Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS) provides a full continuum of primary health care from health promotion to end of life care for residents of Palo Alto County. The main entities of PACHS include Palo Alto County Hospital, three medical clinics, long term care services, independent senior living apartments, home care, county ambulance and emergency services. PACHS is a member of the MercyOne Network, which offers opportunities for recruitment, training, education and networking.

Following is a list of telephone numbers that may be useful to reach specific PACHS departments directly.

If you are dialing from inside a PACHS clinic, you only need to dial a 5 plus the last four-digit number from any telephone to reach the desired PACHS department. For example instance, if you wanted to reach Administration, you would dial 5-5400.

If you feel you are an immediate threat to yourself or others (violent, threatening violence, suicidal) - call 911 or 988 to speak with someone.
